I have a burning fashion question that I must have answered POSTHASTE.
Are rompers still a thing?
Another question… Are rompers a thing for middle aged moms?
I mean, just look how cute this is. I get that it’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love the floaty sleeves, the tie detail.. All of it.
But I’m also a middle aged mom. My legs aren’t as firm and twee as this lovely lady. My platinum hairs are not ironic, they’re home-grown. So I don’t know how I feel about rocking this for myself.
This one definitely doesn’t scream ‘middle aged mom’, and it might be the reason I’m even having this existential crisis over proper fashion choices for myself. I can absolutely see this working for going out in your 20s. MAYBE early 30s. But not much else, tbh, and I’m kind of bummed about eliminating an entire clothing category.
Ahh. There it is. The mom-romper. Momper. This one features a matching one for your mini, so it automatically gives me a pass, right?
RIGHT?
What do we think, girls? Are we ditching rompers, or loving them still?
